If you are new to this blog and only found it because you googled “pixie hollow coming back when” or something similar, you should probably scroll away to some other post on this blog. I have a bone to pick and it’s not with you.
Well, hello there. I’m guessing if you’re reading this & are somewhat familiar with my blog, that you thought you had seen the last of me. Wrongo! I have come back, FIVE years after my last post, to avenge my teenage self.
Because, I was totally in the right. It was you guys who were in the wrong!!
Now that the Pixie Blogging Community (PBC) is all but a shriveled shell of what it once was, I would like to take the time to present my argument/application for sweet, sweet vindication.
First of all, I was criminally underappreciated in the Pixie Blogging Community, considering what I brought to the table. At my peak, I was the second-most-popular blog in the entire PBC (and I was only second to Marigold Sunjewel because she had a 5-year head start). If it was a fair fight, I’m sure I woulda knocked her on her fairy ass.
In my blog’s two-year history, I managed to write and publish 484 posts…all on my own. Counting guest authors, my blog has a total of 488 published posts. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. My blog was functional from June 25, 2015, to February 13, 2017 — exactly 600 days. I posted almost once per day during that time – and this feat wasn’t even fueled by cocaine. Just an enduring love of Pixie Hollow.
I still love Pixie Hollow. If it reopened tomorrow, I would immediately quit my day job to play it 24/7. My dealings with the PBC and the Pixie Chat and all that have not soured my love for PH. It has only highlighted the blemishes on your face, dear reader!
What did I not give to the PBC? I gave my blood, sweat, stress, and tears. I gave some of my best writing, inspiration, muse, and ideas to you. I was entirely truthful when I said that by the end, “the Pixie Hollow fandom in its entirety was an ever-expanding sinkhole I kept pouring my time and energy into, and that I wasn’t happy here, and hadn’t been happy for a long time!” (“Goodbye!”). I gave and gave and gave in a misguided quest for validation. It would have been understandable if I didn’t get the validation I craved (many people live long, fruitful lives without getting all the validation they truly wanted). The PBC was not so kind as to ignore me, though. The PBC not just took what I gave, but stepped on my foot and spat on me at the same time.
The most obvious example of this was the debacle with the Pixie Chat and Breezy Wintersparkle. That whole ordeal was SO egregiously terrible that I have to ask: were you guys pranking me by letting them treat me that way and get away with it? Let me know in the comments. I won’t say that it keeps me up at night wondering, but it certainly plagues a good 2.5% of my waking moments.
“Breezy, Julie, And The Pixie Chat” is still the best source for hearing about the Pixie Chat drama. It was rereading that post that inspired me to write this one. I had forgotten most of what those bitches had said and done to me. I vividly remember how my “friends” enabled this abuse, though. I would like to take this section of my post to quote what you numbskulls said in response to “Breezy, Julie, And The Pixie Chat” because I hate you and think you deserve it.

“Reading this makes me feel bad because I actually have a good understanding with Harmony and Breezy. I’ve even talked to Harmony via Skype once and know her real name….As for Breezy, I have an understanding with her too. She’s cool to me, but hurting you…It’s not gonna make me stop talking to her but it does make me angry…I know I probably sound like a backstabber right now for still hanging with them but I’m not on their side for harassing and insulting you and anyfairy else….Even though you [Breezy & Harmony] sometimes mean for things you say to be jokes remember in chats people can’t tell the difference.”
Translation: I feel bad reading this because I’m friends with two assholes… 😦 Also I want you to know that I’m really mad about this!!! I’m just still gonna hang out with Breezy, even though I know that makes me sound like a backstabber. To Breezy and Harmony — stop it, this isn’t you!! Raven just doesn’t get your “jokes,” so try not to insult her in public view anymore :\\\\

Translation: Wishy-washies of the world, thy name is Angie. I’m sorry that my friends don’t equally insult everyone…not very woke of them tbh. Still gonna hang out with them tho.

I could write more about how you guys drool and I rule, but I’m honestly losing interest. The more I look back at posts, emails, and chat logs from that time, the more I am convinced that I was right, and the less I need the external validation of shit-talking you guys. Wow, this is such a full-circle moment. I got into this situation because I wanted validation, and now I’m making my not-so-gracious final exit by validating myself. I’ll end this post with this: ultimately, the purpose of this post is to say, once and for all, that you guys suck ass and give you one last opportunity to kiss mine. Pucker up, buttercup.
