Chocolate pudding really has no season in my mind. I could eat it every day of the year, but for some reason, I think it fits especially well in winter. I recommend eating it while it’s still hot 🙂
You Will Need:
2/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup Hershey’s cocoa (Unsweetened. This is very important. No extra sweetness or your teeth will fall out. You could use any brand of cocoa powder, my family just hoards Hershey’s 😛 )
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups milk (the % doesn’t matter, I used 2%)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Stir sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt together in medium-sized saucepan. Stir in milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring nonstop until mixture reaches a boil. Let boil for one minute (don’t stop stirring!) The mix is going to be really liquid-y up until the end of the minute that you boil it. Don’t worry, it’ll turn into pudding (and if it doesn’t, you can have a pudding smoothie! XD)
Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
Serve hot or refrigerate for two hours.
Makes four servings.
Stargazing is one of my favorite winter activities. Winter is one of the best times to look for stars, but it can be pretty cold! If you’re going to venture outside in your search for stars, be sure to bundle up!
I don’t use any fancy equipment, I just open up my blinds or go out onto the deck. My calendar displays important stargazing dates, so I have it easy.
Here are some good stargazing websites for all year round:
Take some time to check out the stars this winter, and don’t forget to look for my favorite constellation, the Big Rubber Ducky!
